After studying the discipline, the applicant will know the types of composite materials (CM) used in the design of ships and ship systems, their reinforcement schemes, the peculiarities of their properties when formed by different technologies, changes in operating conditions, and will be able to analyse their advantages and disadvantages.Students will acquire the skills to create structural composite materials for ship hulls and assembly elements depending on the nature of the load.
